ENGINE TUNE-UP

Recommended every 100 hours, or if the engine was not serviced in the fall.
  • Flush engine on Salt Terminator
  • Change spark plugs
  • Start up and run engine to operating temp
  • Check/inspect spark plug lead or pencil coil
  • Check for tell-tale stream and overheating
  • Inspect/lubricate engine latches and cables
  • Change all fuel filters - engine & remote filters
  • Inspect shift cables, linkages or actuators
  • Change engine oil and filters
  • Inspect fuel hoses & fittings
  • Change gear oil
  • Check charging system
  • Remove prop, inspect hub and grease as needed
  • Check engine for service bulletins/recalls
